AI BAR is a bar performance by Emily Krause and Lina Schwarzenberg that took place at the Prompt Battle during the hybrid bienniale Hellerau and at Transmediale.
Instead of human bartenders crafting cocktails based on their expertise, the entire process was driven by artificial intelligence. All the cocktails offered were generated using GPT-3, an AI language model, and served with the assistance of a robot.
The people ordering the drinks did not know what was in the beverages; only the AI knew.
